Configure email alerts within a Project using Project Settings.
This allows you to be notified about connectivity of Datastores and the execution of Processes without needing to log in to Eightwire.
Navigate to Project settings from the Quick Access menu on the account dashboard.
Navigate to the Project Dashboard and select Settings from the icons under General Stats.
Toggle to ‘On’ for a notification and enter an email recipient for any of the following options;
- Failed Batch Notifications
- Failed Discover Notifications
- Failed Scan Notifications
- Failed Test Connection Notifications
The options ‘Batch Notification Interval’ and ‘Notify Minimum Severity’ should be used with the notifications to determine the frequency and the event threshold that will trigger an email.
In the example shown – any failed process within the Project will generate a separate email.
Automated emails will advise details of the failure reason - and the relevant Batch and ProcessID
Use 'Notify Minimum Severity' with Batch, Discover, Scan or Test Connection Notifications or an email will be generated for all events (even successful ones).
